Intramurals

Campus Recreation provides students the opportunity to participate in intramural sports leagues and/or tournaments on campus. JWU Intramurals is also a member of the South Florida Recreation Association. SFRA provides students the opportunity to play in recreation and intramural events at various South Florida colleges and universities. The following are intramural and recreational sports students can participate in: flag football, beach volleyball, basketball, bowling, billiards, softball, soccer, table tennis.

RULES

1)      Games will be played on Tuesdays at Arch Creek Field.

2)      Must have a minimum of 3 players on the field. Less than 3 is a forfeit.

3)      Roster Size: 5 players minimum, 6 players max.

4)      1 female player must be on the field at all times.

5)      All games must be played at Arch Creek Field.

6)      Self officiating will be in effect.

7)      Games will be 2 – 20 Min Half.

8)      3 corners = 1 PK taken from opposite end line. All players must shoot one before a second is taken by an individual.

9)      No player (attacker or defender) can enter the goal mouth (will be lined).

10)  Goal will only count if all players are in attacking half.

11)  Win = 3 points, Tie = 1 point, Loss= 0 points

12)  Thursday will be used as the RAIN OUT day.

13)  Order of Tie Breakers: head to head, goals allowed, goal differential, goals scored, coin flip.

14)  Regular Season Points will decide Playoff Seedings. #1 & #2 will receive Bye. First Round: Game 1: #3vs#6 – Game 2: #4vs#5. Semis: Winner Gm1 vs #2 – Winner Gm2 vs #1. Final: Two Semi Final Winners.
