NEW Wildcat Center Set to Open Dec. 16th vs. Florida College at 7pm

The day everyone has been waiting for has finally come!  The new Wildcat Center is set to make its debut as men's basketball (4-3, TSC 0-1) will take on Florida College on Friday Dec. 16th.  The opening will be a day long event.  There will be a "JWU Tailgate Celebration" starting at 5pm on the 16th.  The event will take place at Arch Creek Field.  It will lead into tip off against Florida College at 7pm.

Men's basketball is currently 4-3, after dropping a tough overtime thriller against cross town rival Florida Memorial University (4-2, TSC 1-0), 85-77, on Wednesday night.  Despite the OT loss, the great start to the season has made the build up to the new Wildcat Center even more special.  Men's basketball is looking to make a statement in Sun Conference play that continues at home this weekend Dec. 3rd, as they face off against NAIA #10 Warner University (5-2, TSC 0-1).

The opening weekend will continue on Saturday Dec. 17th, when women's basketball (1-4) will take the court for the first time in the new facility.  Their game is set for 4:30pm against the College of the Bahamas.  The men will also play the College of the Bahamas after the women's game, tip off is 7pm.
