JWU fell to #18 Keiser University, 68-67 in Sun Conference battle.   

JWU led at the half 38-36 behind the hot-shooting of Jr Gino Fils Aime and Sr. Ricardo Suarez.   JWU was ahead by as many as nine points at 18-9.   Keiser would answer back with a 12-2 run to go up 21-20.   Both teams traded baskets for the remainder of the half as JWU went in to the locker room with a two point advantage. 

The Wildcats came out with a quick run to go up 42-36.   Keiser bounced back with a strong run to forge ahead 57-53.  JWU battled back to cut the lead 68-67 however two missed opportunities in the final seconds sealed the Wildcats' fate.

Fils Aime led the Wildcats with 17 points.   Suarez had 14 points.   Sr. Josh Medina chipped in with 12 big points.

JWU travels to Webber University for a 4pm tipoff on Saturday, January 21.
