Keiser topples Wildcats, 73-64

JWU cut the lead to one point several times in the 2nd half but could not get over the top as the dropped a 73-64 decision to Keiser University in a key Sun Conference contest.

JWU trailed 40-32 at the half.   The Wildcats clawed back to cut the lead to 45-44 and 50-49 in the second half however key putbacks by the Seahawks and a cold spell by the Wildcats offense thwarted the JWU comeback.

"We had a few chances to take the lead midway thru the 2nd half but we just couldn't get over the hump.   We finish up the regular season with three big games at home.   Our goal is to play our best basketball in the final week.   I believe we'll do just that" said Coach David Graham

Ricardo Suarez led the Wildcats with 16 points and 11 rebounds.   Nick Preradovic had 15 points while Gino Fils Aime and Jonathan Lafontant had 14 points and 10 points respectively.

JWU hosts Southeastern University at 4pm on Sat February 11 at the Wildcat Center.
