Men’s Golf Places Tied for Sixth; Bauer Claims Top 10 Finish at the Battle at Primm

PRIMM VALLEY, Nev. (March 20, 2018) – Shooting a 5-under (281-277-277, 835), the Johnson & Wales men's golf team registered its 11th Top-6 finish of the season, placing tied for sixth at the Battle at Primm on Tuesday. The three-round, 18-team event took place at the Primm Valley Golf Club – Lakes Course (par 70, 6,841).

Jake Bauer paced the Wildcats with his sixth Top-10 finish of the season, shooting a 3-under (67-70-70, 207) to tie for 10th. Cody Booska finished tied for 14th with a 2-under (69-71-68, 208) followed by Alex Rainville, who placed tied for 21st with an even par (76-66-68, 210). Gustav Tegal shot a 5-over (71-70-74, 215) to tie for 38th while Baylee Wise placed tied for 50th with a 9-over (74-74-71, 219).

The Wildcats will next take part in the Battle at the Shores April 2-3 from the Normandy Shores Golf Club in Miami Beach.
