Men’s Soccer Falls to St. Thomas, 2-0

MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. (Oct. 25, 2017) – The Johnson & Wales men's soccer team (7-5-1, 4-3-1 TSC) fell to the St. Thomas Bobcats (10-1-1, 8-0-0 TSC), 2-0, from the St. Thomas Soccer Field on Wednesday evening.

After a scoreless first half, STU got on the scoreboard in the 51st minute with a goal by Konstantinos Mylonas. The Bobcats added an insurance goal in the 76th minute by Harry Molyneux.

Goalkeeper Jesse Della Porta suffered the loss, despite making seven saves in 72 minutes of action. The Wildcats were out-shot, 28-2, with the Bobcats holding a 5-1 advantage in corners.  

JWU will close out the 22017 regular season on Saturday, Oct. 28. The Wildcats will host Warner University at 3:30 p.m. The team will honor its senior class, which will be playing the final home contest of their Wildcat careers.
