McPherson .01 shy of Nationals

The Wildcats of JWU traveled to UM to run in the Alumni Invitational, their third meet this season. Two Wildcat Athletes represented JWU in 4 events. So. Paul McPherson (Philidelphia, PA)  ran against DIV I schools. McPherson finished 1st in his heat with 21.9718 and 52 overall and 21 of 38 overall with a 400m = 50.19.

 

Sr. Michael Robinson (NY, New York), earned a time of 11.89 (3rd in Heat, 39 of 46 overall) in the100m and for the 200m, 23.81 (2nd in Heat, 46 of 52 overall). Robinson is suiting up in the blocks directly following his season on the Men's Basketball Team. Coach Nab Muhammad was pleased with the results, " Paul is currently ranked 28th in the Nation (NAIA) in the 200m and is 0.01 second away from qualifying for Nationals, I think that demonstrates his dedication to train to win!"

 

The Wildcats will be running in the The Sun Conference Championship, Sunday April 18th in Daytona Beach, FL.
