Paul McPherson named NAIA Track All American

Soph. Paul McPherson (Philadelphia PA) was named to the NAIA Outdoor Track All American team for the second consecutive year. 

McPherson finished second in the 400 meter dash at the national championships held in Marion, IN last week.  He finished behind fellow Sun Conference foe Dredame Carter of Florida Memorial.  The two rivals went into the nationals ranked number 1 and 2 in the 400 Meter in the country and those rankings held true to form in the championships. 

"We are very proud of Paul's accomplishments.  He had a few hurdles to jump along the way this year that somewhat hindered his development however he came thru when it counted.  To be a two-time All American is a great feat" said Head Coach Nab Muhammad.

McPherson also runs cross country for the Wildcats.
