Lady Wildcats Break in WIldcat Center with a W

The Wildcat Center was still humming after the spirited opening last night, today's was no expectation.  The fans raged for the Lady Wildcats, as they took the court against The College of the Bahamas. Fr. Kristina Bridges, wasn't shy at the 3pt line, sank 2 3's within the first 3 mins. She helped set the pace for the win the Cats would take, 86-34.

Bridges kept the tempo high, well into the second half, she finished as the leading scorer with 21 pts and leading in rebounds with 12. She made 100% shots taken from the 3. Myia Russellalso played her part, with a double double, finishing the game with 18pts and 10rbs. Assistant Coach, Robyn Swaby, "What a great moment for JWU Women's basketball! The team played their hearts out and the Alumni were here to see it. That's what makes this team sucsessful regardless of any outcome. We really are one big family, past and present players all with one goal, to get better every game."

The Wildcats will face the Caribs again at the Wildcat Center this Monday, December 19th at 7pm. They hope to closeout the year with another win, continue to train over teh holiday break and be ready for their TSC schedule in January.
