Southeastern remains undefeated

Last Night JWU Women's basketball played against undefeated Southeastern University.  The Lady Wildcats came in to the game 1-2 in the sun conference. For the Lady Wildcat, it was a tough night keeping up with southeastern shooters. Southeastern knocked down 10 three pointers for the game and shot 54% from the field. The Lady Fire jumped out to a 49-25 lead in the first half of play and never looked back.  Coach Hope commented, "We lost to a really good team in Southeastern. What's important to me is how we learn from our mistakes and bounce back for our next game." Key performers were Senior Guard Joelle Patterson with 13 points shooting 3-3 from the 3pt line, adding 7 rebounds and 5 assist.  Small Forward Bevin Davis added 14 points 7 rebounds. Starting point guard Diamond Williams also added 13 points and 3 rebounds 5 assist and 2 steals. The Lady Wildcats are back home on in the Wildcat Center this Saturday January 7, 2017 at 2:00pm as they take on cross town rivalry Florida Memorial University. Please come out and show your support.
