NORTH MIAMI, Fla. (Jan. 11, 2018) – Unable to decide the game in regulations, the Johnson & Wales women's basketball team (6-11, 2-6 TSC) outscored the Warner Lady Royals in overtime, 14-10, to win its second-straight conference outing, 79-75 on Thursday evening.

Diamond Williams accounted for six of the teams 14 points in the extra frame, including a 4-of-5 effort from the line to seal the victory for the Wildcats. Williams finished the night with 11 points on 3-of-9 shooting from the floor and 5-of-7 from the free-throw line. The product of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, also notched her first double-double of the season, grabbing a career-high 14 rebounds versus the Lady Royals. Williams also tallied a career-high eight assists. Tianna Ayulo registered her sixth double-double of the season, scoring a game-high 24 points and recording 12 boards, including a game-high five on the offensive end. JoNae Gonzales posted 13 points with eight rebounds, while Bevin Mays added 13 points on 5-of-6 shooting from the floor, including a perfect 3-of-3 from beyond the arc. Rounding out the team's leading scorers was Alexis McClain, who scored 11 points on 3-of-9 shooting from the floor and 5-of-8 from the charity stripe while corralling seven rebounds in her first appearance of the season.

JWU shot 43.1 percent from the floor (25-of-58) and was 7-of-18 from 3-point range (38.9 percent). The Wildcats converted 22-of-31 attempts from the free-throw line (71.0 percent). The Lady Royals finished the night, shooting 32.9 percent from the field (27-of-82) and drained 9-of-22 attempts from downtown (40.0 percent). Warner struggled from the free-throw line, making just 48.0 percent of its attempts (12-of-25).

The Wildcats will travel to Babson, Florida, to take on Webber International on Saturday, January, 13. Tipoff is slated for 2:00 p.m.
