Robyn Swaby, alumna and former player, received her B.A. in Accounting - Magna Cum Laude at Johnson & Wales University in 2009. She was named as an

All- Conference Player and Scholar Athlete in 2009 by the NAIA and was also the winner of the Scholar-Athlete of the Year Award in 2008. Throughout all four years of attending JWU Robyn remained on the Dean's List and was inducted into the Golden Quill Honor Society.



Robyn was a member of the first Women's basketball team at Johnson & Wales University, North Miami Campus in 2005. She led her team in scoring averaging 13 ppg and ranked within the division shooting 39% from the three-point line and 85% shooting free throws. During her career at Johnson & Wales she was a 3-year starter and finished her career as an all-time leading scorer.

She is a native of Nassau, Bahamas who attended St. Mary's Academy in New Orleans playing basketball for her junior and senior year of high school. After her career at JWU, she has played semi-pro basketball and had has gained international playing experience since her career as a Lady Wildcat.

Robyn has played with the Bahamian National Team where they travelled to Mexico, Dominican Republic, and Trinidad, where her team won the bronze medal at the Caribbean Qualifier. She also played one year with the Miami Rain Semi-Pro Team, which qualified for Nationals and made it to the semi-finals during the tournament.

She has recently acquired her Masters in Business Administration and a Certificate in Forensic Accounting from St. Thomas University, and this will be her first year as the Women's Basketball Assistant Coach.
