Lady Wildcats off to good start at the 11th annual WIU Women's Golf Invitational

The Lady Wildcats Womens Golf Team are competing in the Webber Invitational in Lake Wales, Florida this weekend. The team had a good showing today with improving individual scores by 20+ shots in a competative round. Coach Witney had this to say about her team's performance, "I am so proud of all the hard work, dedication and effort the girls have been putting into their golf games and at practice." The Team Captain Paige Moffat is currently in 2nd place shooting a score of 79, Emily Garrahan is one of the top players shooting a score of 81, Jessica Sondey who has improved tremendously shooting a score of 98, and the most improved player of the week Katie Jensen shooting a score of 118 today.

The final round is tomorrow and the team is currently in 3rd place with a total score of 376.
