Coach Whitney’s Golf background began at the Redwood Meadows Golf & Country Club located in Calgary, Alberta Canada, where she played in many club tournaments and participated in local amateur events throughout the city.  Her dream was to become a professional golfer and play professionally.

Coach Whitney began her collegiate career as a middle/right-side volleyball athlete at Red Deer College where she was a two time medalist at Nationals. She then transferred colleges in her junior year and as her golf game developed she joined the women’s golf team at Camosun College; she played two seasons and finished her eligibility

Coach Whitney graduated with a diploma in Kinesiology and bachelors in Professional Golf Management; she then moved to South Florida to pursue her golf career and her dream of becoming a professional golfer. Coach Whitney soon joined the local mini tour tournaments and gained experience playing on the Canadian Women’s Tour, Futures Tour, Sun coast Tour and the First Nations Golf Tour.  She joined the Ladies Professional Golf Association to further her skills and knowledge in the golf business specializing in management, teaching and coaching.  Coach Whitney has worked as a local club professional for over 14 years at Golf Country Clubs to South Florida’s finest resort golf courses.  Her passion is all aspects of golf and to create awareness to those who are unfamiliar with golf.  Her experience in the business and level of play is what makes her a great candidate as a coach and as an athlete. 

This is Coach Whitney's first year with the Lady Wildcats.
