Women's Home Opener

 The Lady Wildcats of Johnson & Wales University (0-2) suited up for their first home game against the Seahawks from Northwood University from West Palm Beach, FL. Head Coach, Eric Dobrzanskiprepared his team to buckle down on defence as needed, NU controlled the game, out shooting the Wildcats both halves and taking the win, 0-13.

Newcomer, Fr. Elizabeth Haley (Orlando, FL), started and finished in goal for JWU saving over 35 shots on goal.  Haley'sefforts kept the experienced NU to 0-13, she said, "I've learned that when winning seems impossible, losing still can't be the only option, I know we didn't give up despite the score." The Wildcats will be welcoming additions to their roster as the trimester begins; this will give them the opportunity to continue to build for the upcoming Sun Conference match-ups.
