MIRAMAR, Fla. (Oct. 3, 2018)
– The Johnson & Wales women's soccer team (7-3-0, 4-1-0 TSC) shut out the Florida Memorial Lions (0-9-0, 0-5-0 TSC), 3-0, on Wednesday afternoon for the Wildcat's third-straight victory.

Junior Sawyer Hall scored the eventual game-winning goal in the eighth minute to give JWU a 1-0 lead. The goal was the fourth of the season for the native of Pembroke Pines. Senior Audrey Gant set up the score with her second assist of the season.

Gant was not done, scoring the first goal of her JWU career with a strike in the 24th minute. Senior Annet Cea connected with Gant for her first of two assists in the match.
