JWU Women's Volleyball started their second season on the North Miami Campus this weekend with much anticiaption. Coach James Exley recruited heavily this past year, bringing experienced personnel to the young team. The team finished 1-1, playing on the campus of Florida National University in Hialeah, Miami.

The Wildcats started 4 freshmen in the first match of the day on Friday against Johnson University of Florida. The newcomers suited up and proved that they will bring the team to a new level this sesason. Savannah Swenson (Clermont, Fla.) led the team with 15 kills, 16 digs while Bianca Torres(Miami, Fla.) had 25 digs. Anissa Giammona (Pembroke Pines, Fla.) set up the Wildcat offense with 30 assists. JWU won its first match of the season in their second season of competition. 

The Lady Wildcats will be home this Thursday against Missouri Baptist University at 1pm. All home games are played at the Wildcat Center, in North Miami Fla.
