The JWU women's volleyball squad jumped back into the win column with a hard-fought 3-2 non-conference victory over Trinity College.   The win moved the Wildcats to a 3-7 overall record.

JWU jumped on the visitors in the first two games 25-10 and 25-22.   Trinty fought back winning the next two sets which forced a 5th game.  JWU dug deep in the final securing the victory 15-11.   So. Sharell Nairn, Fr. Savannah Swenson and Fr. Anissa Giammona led the offensive attack for JWU while Fr. Bianca Torres spearheaded the defense.

JWU will look to get on a win streak as they host conference foe Ave Maria University at the Wildcat Center at 2pm on Saturday September 23.

"We are trying to gain some momentum as we had about a week off due to Hurricane Irma.   This was a good win as we head into Sun Conference play" said 2yr coach James Exley.
