Volleyball Falls to Southeastern, 3-0, on Senior Day

NORTH MIAMI, Fla. (Nov. 4, 2017) – Playing the final match of the 2017 season, the Johnson & Wales volleyball team (7-23, 0-16 TSC) dropped a 3-0 decision (25-11, 25-8, 25-23) to Southeastern (22-7, 12-4 TSC) on Saturday afternoon at the Wildcat Center.

The Lady Wildcats honored this year's senior class (Gabrielle Mills, Chloe Aloizos and Bevin Mays) prior to the start of the match.

The Lady Wildcats could not overcome 19 attack errors and a team hitting percentage on .030. Leading JWU was Sharell Nairn, who recorded 11 kills. Savannah Swenson followed Nairn with seven kills versus SEU while notching a team-high 10 digs. Anissa Giammona had a team-best 17 assists while accounting for one of JWU's two service aces.
