JWU Athletics Recognizes 2019 Graduates

NORTH MIAMI, Fla. (May 24, 2019) -- Thirty members of the Wildcats athletic department earned degrees from Johnson & Wales University during the 2019 Spring Commencement exercises, which took place Saturday, May 18, at the Greater Fort Lauderdale Broward County Convention Center. The student-athletes (and one student assistant) were among the nearly 330 JWU undergraduate and graduate students who earned their degrees during the spring ceremonies.

In all, over 600 undergradate and graduate students received degrees from JWU during hthe 2018-19 academic year.

Graduates from all of the JWU schools and colleges were recognized by name and walked across the stage to be congratulated by University President Dr. Larry Rice and their respective college's chair.

Seven of JWU's athletics programs were represented in the graduation ceremonies. Both the men's and women's soccer teams led all programs with eight graduates apiece.

This year's graduating class featured Academic All-Americans, NAIA Scholar-Athletes, NAIA All-Americans and All-Sun Conference honorees.
