JWU Athletics Recognizes 4.0 Club Inductees for Winter 2019-20 Term

NORTH MIAMI, Fla. (April 21, 2020) -- Academic success continues to be an important focus for the Johnson & Wales Athletic Department. Winning in the classroom is just as important as success in athletic competition.

On Tuesday, April 21, the JWU Athletic Department announced the latest inductees into its 4.0 Club.

Winter 2019-20

Andrea Chavez – women's soccer
Adelyn Claborn – women's soccer

Noemy Franco – women's soccer
Ashlyn Hannus – women's soccer

The group is led by multi-term honorees Camilla Ter Vehn (women's golf – 8), Ayshia Scott (women's basketball – 5), Juan Majul (men's soccer – 5), Georgia Page (women's golf – 5), and features 10 first-time inductees.

During the 2017-18 year, the JWU Athletic Department created the 4.0 Club which recognizes those student-athletes who exemplify excellence in the classroom. Each term JWU Athletics will recognize those student-athletes who earned a 4.0 GPA.
