Wildcat Wellness Wednesdays

 September 6th- Social Wellness "Get Jiggy with it Cats"

Social wellness involves building healthy, nurturing and supportive relationships as well as fostering a genuine connection with those around you. Students will be guided to download the CAT PACK app and earn point. They will also have the opportunity to meet the Fall athletes, take a peek at the latest wildcat gear that can be purchased in the campus bookstore and take pictures with Willie the Wildcat.

October 4th- Emotional Wellness "Stretch your mind"

Emotional wellness means being attentive to your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, whether positive or negative. Join us in learning ways to be mindful and reduce stress by creating a one of a kind mandala art piece, testing your emoji IQ and making your own stress ball.

Novemebr 1st- Environmental Wellness "Reuse, Repurpose, Reduce"

Environmental wellness inspires us to live a lifestyle that is respectful of our surroundings. This element encourages us to live in harmony with the Earth by taking action to protect it. Join us in the Mix and create items out of recycled materials.

Wildcat Wellness Elements

 Emotional Wellness involves being attentive to thoughts, feelings, and how to manage behaviors to minimize stress and maximize emotional well-being.

 Intellectual Wellness is the empowerment to self-teach, be open to new experiences, seek out stimulating and challenging mental activities that expand knowledge.

Financial Wellness relates to managing resources, making good consumer choices and seeking out appropriate financial opportunities.

Physical Wellness refers to maintaining and improving through physical activity.

Nutritional Wellness addresses how we feed our bodies, being aware of healthy options that that suit our needs.

Environmental Wellness reflects the impact we have on the planet.

Spiritual Wellness is a personal matter involving values and beliefs that provide purpose and meaning in our lives.

Social Wellness focuses on civility, connecting with the community as servant leaders, personal responsibility, and diversity.
