The Wildcats avenged an early season loss at home by taking down Florida National University, 91-83, behind the second straight career-high scoring game by Jr. Nick Preradovic. Preradovic scored 35 points which included clutch free throws down the stretch to secure the road victory. JWU, which led 41-30 at halftime, also had strong contributions from Sr. Gino Fils Aime 18 points and Fr. Gustav Ling who chipped in with a career-high 18 points.
"I am happy for the guys that they did enough in the final 10 minutes of the game to grab the win" said head coach David Graham. "They've been knocking on the door with some of the top NAIA teams in the country and in our conference so it feels good to get over the top. Lots to work on still but we're heading in the right direction".
The Wildcats will host Marian University out of Indiana on Monday, December 18 at 730pm in a Sun Conference vs Crossroads Conference clash.
