Wildcats Fall to Seahawks, 97-70

NORTH MIAMI, Fla. (November 23, 2019)
– The Johnson & Wales (Fla.) men's basketball team (2-5, 0-2 TSC) dropped a 97-70 decision to the Keiser Seahawks (5-1, 2-0 TSC) on Saturday evening.

Freshmen Alex Doane and Dante Pace each reached the 20-point plateau in the contest, scoring 22 and 21, respectively. The duo drained 10 of the team's 12 total 3-pointers versus the Seahawks. Doane finished the night shooting 8-of-15 from the floor while Pace connected on 6-of-14 from the field.

Sophomore Kevin Rostamian led the Wildcats with eight rebounds.

The Wildcats finished the night shooting 39.0 percent from the floor (23-of-59) and were 12-of-38 from downtown (31.6 percent). KU connected on 52.4 percent of its shots from the floor (33-of-63) and was 12-of-28 from beyond the arc (42.9 percent).  

The Wildcats will next host the Coastal Georgia Mariners on Thursday, December 5. Game time is slated for 7:30 p.m.
