JWU’s Cody Booska Named NAIA PING First-Team All-American

MESA, Ariz. (May 24, 2019) – Johnson & Wales (Fla.) senior Cody Booska has been named a NAIA PING First-Team All-American by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) on Friday.

Booska, who finished the NAIA National Championships tied for eighth with a 6-over, 290, entered this week's action with  a season stroke average of 72.39 while posting seven Top 10 and three Top 5 finishes. Booska placed third in the 2019 Sun Conference Men's Golf Championships at the Lake Jovita Country Club in Dade City, Florida, shooting a 3-under 213 to help guide the Wildcats to a fifth-place finish. A 2019 All-Sun Conference selection, Booska has recorded 18 rounds at par or under this season. Booska is currently ranked No. 19 by GolfStat.
