NORTH MIAMI, Fla. (July 8, 2019) – Head Coach Danny Randolph announced the Johnson & Wales men's golf fall schedule on Monday which features six tournaments, including the Dave Adamonis Sr. Invitational at Trump National Doral – JWU's annual home event.
The Wildcats are coming off a 2018-19 season in which All-American Cody Booska led JWU to its 19th-consecutive berth in the NAIA National Championships Tournament en route to a final ranking of No. 12 in the nation.
JWU starts its 2019 fall campaign at the Keiser Kup (Sept. 8-9). Hosted by the Seahawks, this year's Keiser Kup will take place on PGA National's Champions Course. Last season, the Wildcats placed third in the fall "Sun Conference Major".
Five days later, the Wildcats will head to Farmingdale, New York, to take part in this year's Doc Glimmer played at Bethpage State Park (Red Course). Hosted by St. John's, JWU returns to The Doc Glimmer where the Wildcats placed tied for second last fall (in an all-NCAA Division I field).
After a trip to Newton, Kansas, for the Mid-South Classic at the Sand Creek Station Golf Club (Sept. 23-24), JWU will head to Palm Harbor, Florida, to compete in the USCB Innisbrook Invitational (Sept. 30 – Oct. 1).
A return to PGA Nationals' Champions Course is in store for the Wildcats as JWU will take part in the Shark Invitational (Oct. 7-8) hosted by Nova Southeastern. JWU closes out its fall schedule with its annual Dave Adamonis Sr. Invitational at Trump National Doral (Oct. 28-29). Played on both the Red Tiger and Blue Monster, the late-October tournament is the Wildcats' yearly home event.
