The Wildcats come into the Faulkner Invitational looking to snap a current two-game losing skid after dropping a pair of contests at last weekend's 2018 Grizzly Soccer Classic in Lawrenceville, Georgia. JWU suffer a 2-0 loss to No. 8 Georgia Gwinnett on Saturday followed by a 2-1 defeat at the hands of LSU Alexandria on Monday. Senior Rodrigo Doben scored the Wildcat's lone goal of the weekend with a header in the 41st minute of Monday's contest. Doben beat the General's goalkeeper with a shot from just outside of the six-yard box. The score came off of a free kick by freshman Nicolas Gomez. The goal was the second of Doben's JWU career (third of his collegiate career) while the assist by Gomez was his first in a Wildcat uniform.
