(Sept. 21, 2018) – After a 10-day hiatus, the Johnson & Wales men's soccer team (3-2-0, 0-0-0 TSC) return to action on Saturday, September 22, hosting the Webber International Warriors (4-1-2, 0-0- TSC) in Sun Conference action. Game time is set for 2:00 p.m. The contest will be part of a doubleheader with the women's program which hosts Southeastern at 4:00 p.m.

The Wildcats have gone two weeks without a result (the September game at Eckerd College was canceled due to lightning) and will be looking to win the team's third-straight with a victory on Saturday. JWU enters Saturday's game averaging 4.00 goals-per-game (No. 2 in the conference and No. 8 nationally) on 91 total shots (an average of 18.2 shots-per-contest). Also scoring multiple goals this season are redshirt freshman Lucas Colodrero (2), senior Rodrigo Doben (2), and sophomore Daniel Fantauzzi (2). Freshman goalkeeper Jhon Perez comes into Saturday with a 2-0-0 record and a 1.34 goals-against-average.
It's Been a While: Saturday's contest will mark the first match for the Wildcats since taking on Dalton State (3-2 win) in Montgomery, Alabama, as part of the Faulkner Invitational (September 8). JWU was scheduled to play Eckerd College on Wednesday, September 12. However, inclement weather halted the game after 45 minutes, resulting in a cancellation.
Series History: Saturday will mark the 11th meeting all-time between JWU and Webber International with the Warriors holding an 8-2 advantage in the series history. The last meeting between the two teams resulted in a 2-0 victory for the Wildcats on September 22, 2017, in Babson Park, Florida.
