NORTH MIAMI, Fla. (June 20, 2019)
– The 2019 Johnson & Wales men's soccer schedule, announced by Head Coach Phil Zayas on Thursday, will feature 14 teams from four different conferences, including three which were recognized in the final 2018 NAIA Top-25 poll.

Following a pair of exhibition games on the road (at Florida Atlantic on Aug. 16 and at Broward College on Aug. 19), the Wildcats host the University of the Virgin Islands in the team's 2019 home-opener on Thursday, August 22. The match is one of seven home contests for JWU at Miami Shores Village (9825 NE 7th Ave., Miami Shores, FL 33138).

JWU will remain home to start the month of September with a match versus Brewton-Parker – the first of three-straight versus teams from the Southern States Athletic Conference. The Wildcats will tangle with the Barons in a Labor Day contest on Monday, September 2. The match will be part of a doubleheader with the JWU women's team.

The Wildcats will hit the road for five-straight, including a tournament hosted by the University of Mobile. The first stop for the men's soccer program is Mobile, Alabama, to take part in a two-match tournament (September 5-7) hosted by the Rams. The tournament will see JWU face host-institution Mobile (Sept. 5), which ended the 2018 season receiving votes in the NAIA Top 25, and Bethel (Tenn.) (Sept. 7), which finished 2018 ranked No. 23 in the nation.

JWU returns to the Sunshine State to take on NCAA Division II opponent Eckerd College on Tuesday, September 17, in St. Petersburg, before heading home to open up Sun Conference play versus Keiser on Saturday, September 28.

A one-game, conference-road swing at Webber International (Oct. 5) precedes a two-game homestand where the Wildcats welcome Ave Maria on Wednesday, October 9, and Southeastern on Saturday, October 12. The Fire ended 2018 receiving votes in the NAIA Top 25.

Two more road games occur (Oct. 16 at Florida Memorial and Oct. 19 at SCAD Savannah) before JWU hosts the Warner Royals on October 26. The team's final road contest of the 2019 regular season features a rematch of last year's TSC quarterfinals as JWU heads to Miami Gardens to take on St. Thomas on Wednesday, October 30.

The Wildcats will honor their senior class prior to the start of the final home game of 2019 which features JWU versus Thomas on Saturday, November 2.

The 2019 Sun Conference is set to begin on campus sites on Saturday, November 9.
