JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (Aug. 27, 2019) – The Johnson & Wales (Fla.) men's soccer season opener at Trinity Baptist has been canceled due to poor field conditions as a result of inclement weather in the area.
The game will be rescheduled for a later date this season.
After a first half that saw JWU take a 2-0 lead, severe thunderstorms entered the area, leaving the TBC Soccer Field unplayable.
The Wildcats will return home to host Brewton-Parker on Monday, September 2, as part of a Labor Day doubleheader with the JWU women's team. Game time is set for 2:30 p.m.
