The Johnson & Wales (Fla.) men's soccer team (2-4-1, 2-1-1 TSC) battled the No. 9-ranked Southeastern Fire (10-0-2, 4-0-1 TSC) to a 2-2 (2OT) draw on Saturday afternoon.

The Wildcats got on the board first with an 18th-minute strike by freshman Mark Osaghae. The native of Miami, Florida, netting the first goal of his JWU career after receiving a pass from Farid Sar Sar. Osaghae then used his speed to get behind the Fire back line and blast a shot past goalkeeper Carlos Curado. For Sar Sar it was the first assist of this collegiate career.

SEU tied the match in the 61st minute with a goal by Skylar Funk and took the lead in the 81st minute after Jake Van Der Luit caught JWU goalkeeper Alex Marciulonis out of position.

However, the Wildcats tied the match when Sar Sar converted a penalty kick attempt in the 85th minute for his third goal of the season.

Neither team could break the tie in regulation or after two 10-minute overtime periods, resulting in the draw.

Marciulonis registered nine saves in the draw.

The Fire out-shot the Wildcats 30-13 and held a 12-6 edge in shots on goal.
