SAVANNAH, Ga. (October 20, 2019)
– The Johnson & Wales (Fla.) men's soccer team (3-4-2, 3-1-2) extended their unbeaten streak to five games following a 0-0 (2OT) at SCAD Savannah (5-4-1, 3-2-1 TSC) on Sunday afternoon.

The game, originally scheduled for Saturday, October 19, was moved due to the threat of Tropical Storm Nestor.

Sophomore goalkeeper Alex Marciulonis (3-4-2) picked up the first shutout of his JWU career, making six saves in 110 minutes of action.

Offensively, JWU had nine different Wildcats register a shot in the game and were led by Fernando Arzeno (2) and Farid Sar Sar (2).

For the match, SCAD out-shot JWU, 19-11, and held a 6-3 edge in shots on goal.

The Wildcats will host the Warner Royals on Saturday, October 26. Game time is set for 2:00 p.m.
