NORTH MIAMI, Fla. (June 25, 2019) – Head Coach Yanique Booth announced on Tuesday the addition of Ashley Doissaint, Nickalus Knight, Jobed Phanord and Marlon Deetjen to the Johnson & Wales (Fla.) track & field team for the 2019-20 season.
"This year the program is going through a transition and it takes a lot patience to build the foundation the right way," Coach Booth said. "The pieces are coming together slowly, but I am excited about what I'm seeing. The students that are going to be a part of the program understand the vision and are excited to be a part of the building process. I think 2019-2020 season is going to be an interesting year and I am looking forward to seeing how it will unfold."
Doissaint is a thrower from Doctor Charter School in Miami, Florida.
Her events are the shot put and discus.

Knight is sprinter from American Heritage High School in Plantation, Florida.
His primary events are the 400m and 800m.

His events are the shot put and discus – (School record holder in shot put. Also a shot put finalist at the Florida High School State Championship)
Deetjen (black shirt - photo to the right) is a sprinter from Somerset Academy Canyons in Boynton Beach, Florida.
His events are the 100m and 200m.
