@JWUWBBallNM Adds Chrystal Pressley for the 2019-20 Season

NORTH MIAMI, Fla. (July 31, 2019) – Head Coach Kymberly Hope announced on Wednesday the signing of Chrystal Pressley to the Johnson & Wales women's basketball program for the 2019-20 season.

"Chrystal will bring us some size and toughness in the paint," Coach Hope said. "What I love the most about Chrystal is her toughness and her strong work ethic, yet she possesses a humble demeanor. That alone will help her reach whatever goal she has in front of her and I am happy that she will be a part of our JWU Family."

Pressley comes to JWU after spending two seasons at Palm Beach State College. During her time with Panthers, Pressley appeared in 49 games, averaging 6.7 points-per-game while shooting 47.6 percent from the floor. The product of Miramar, Florida, registered 58 assists while averaging 8.9 rebounds-per-contest in two years at Palm Beach State.

A graduate of Miami Norland Senior High, Pressley appeared in 28 games for the Vikings during her senior season, averaging 4.3 points-per-game and 8.1 rebounds-per-contest.
