Women’s Golf Registered Top 3 Finish at Thomas Invitational

VALDOSTA, Ga. (October 9, 2019)
– The Johnson & Wales (Fla.) women's golf team (320-325, 645) placed third at this year's Thomas University Invitational on Tuesday, October 8.

The two-day, two-round event was held at the Kinderlou Forest Golf Club and featured seven teams and 40 total golfers.

The Wildcats were led by Madyson Moy (+11), who placed 11th with a 155 (77-78). Following Moy on the individual leaderboard was Olivia Patrow, who posted a 14-over 158 to finish 13th. Samantha Cornelius (+20 – tied for 20th), Georgia Page (+31 – 30th) and Carlota Querol Duro (+32 – tied for 31st) rounded out the team scoring for JWU.

Playing as an individual was Camilla ter Vehn (+44 – 39th).

The Wildcats will wrap up their fall slate, hosting the 2019 Dave Adamonis Sr Invitational from Trump National Doral. The two-day tournament will begin on Monday, October 28.
