ST. SIMONS ISLAND, Ga. (February 12, 2020) – Led by Madyson Moy's 7-over 151, the Johnson & Wales (Fla.) women's golf team finished fifth in the Coastal Georgia Winter Invite on Tuesday.
The two-day event, played at the King and Prince Golf Course (5,809 yards, par 72), featured 14 teams and 86 total golfers.
Moy shot at 151 (74-77) to place tied for third. The top-5 finish was the first of her JWU career. Following Moy on the individual leaderboard was freshman Olivia Patrow, who placed tied for 20th with a 15-over 159 (79-80). Rounding out the JWU scores were sophomore Georgia Page (tied for 33rd – 20-over), freshman Samantha Cornelius (tied for 41st – 24-over), and junior Camila ter Vehn (tied for 46th – 29-over).
The Wildcats will next compete at the Dalton State Spring Invite beginning February 17.
