ORLANDO, Fla. (February 19, 2020) – The Johnson & Wales (Fla.) women's golf team placed fifth in the 2020 Championsgate Preview hosted by Dalton State on Tuesday.
The two-day event, played at Championsgate Country Club (5,801 yards, par 72), featured eight teams and 42 total golfers.
Shooting 981 (317-329-335) the Wildcats were led by freshman Olivia Patrow, who placed 17th with a 23-over 239 (77-79-83). Following Patrow on the individual leaderboard was freshman Madyson Moy who placed tied for 19th with a 25-over 241 (78-81-82). Rounding out the JWU scores were sophomore Georgia Page (26th – 33-over), freshman Samantha Cornelius (tied for 30th – 39-over), and junior Camilla ter Vehn (tied for 36th – 58-over).
The Wildcats will next compete at the Seminole State Spring Invite beginning March 2.
