Chris Grace enters his third season as the head coach of the Johnson & Wales women’s golf team.
Prior to joining JWU, the native of Oklahoma spent the three years as an Assistant Golf Professional at Indian Spring Country Club in Boynton Beach, Florida with a burning passion and love for coaching ultimately leading him to JWU. His collegiate coaching experience includes five years as the Head Men's Golf Coach at East Central University in Oklahoma (1996-2001) as well as two years as the Assistant Women's Golf Coach (2008-2010) and three years as Head Women's Golf Coach at Redlands Community College in Oklahoma (2010-2013). While at Redlands, Grace led the Women's Golf team to eight team titles, seven individual titles, two individual National Champions (2012-2013) and won the 2012 NJCAA National Championship while setting the National Tournament scoring record. In 2012, Grace was named NJCAA National Coach of the Year and had four players named NJCAA All-Americans.
In addition to his stints in coaching, Grace brings a heavy background in the golf industry especially in golf instruction and player development. A PGA Professional and a student of the game, Chris has taken opportunities to study under and work with some of the top instructors in the game including serving as a Senior Instructor at Dave Pelz Golf from 2001-2010.
