The Wildcats have already clinched a spot in this year's Sun Conference Women's Soccer Championships and will host a first-round game next Saturday. However, JWU will be looking to make program history with a victory on Saturday with the school's first 10-win season. Sophomore Savannah Jackson, the reigning TSC Offensive Player of the Week, leads JWU with a school-record 24 goals with four assists and a program-best 52 points in 2018. The native of Davenport, Florida is second in the conference in both goals-per-game (1.71 – No. 4 in the nation) and points-per-contest (3.71 – No. 4 in the nation). Jackson has recorded four hat tricks this year. Senior Carissa Sanchez is second on the team in points with 16 (6g, 4a). The native of Miami has scored a goal in four-straight games. Junior Sawyer Hall is third on the team in total points (13) with four goals and a team-best five assists. The product of Pembroke Pines, Florida, registered a career-high three assists during JUW's 4-1 over Thomas last Saturday. Freshman goalkeeper Kellie Fitzpatrick, the current TSC Defensive Player of the Week, comes into Saturday's match with a 9-4-0 record and a 2.45 goals-against-average. The native of Spokane, Washington, has notched 81 saves this season while tallying three shutouts.
Series History: Saturday will mark the eighth meeting all-time between JWU and USCB with the Sand Sharks holding a 3-2-2 edge in the series history. The last meeting between the two schools resulted in a 2-1 win for USCB on October 28, 2017, in Miami Shores, Florida.
