MIAMI SHORES, Fla. (September 28, 2019) – Midfielder Sawyer Hall notched a career-high two goals to help lead the Johnson & Wales (Fla.) women's soccer team (6-1-0, 1-0-0 TSC) to a 3-0 win over the USCB Sand Sharks (4-4-0, 0-1-0 TSC) on Saturday afternoon.
Hall's first career multiple-goal game as a Wildcat gave JWU its first conference win of the season and improved her squad to 6-1-0 for the first time in program history. It also improved JWU to 4-4-1 all-time versus the Sand Sharks.
Junior Andrea Gomez got the Wildcats on the board with a converted penalty kick in the 35th minute. Less than 30 seconds later, Hall notched the first of her two goals on the afternoon, burying a pass from junior Savannah Jackson to give JWU a 2-0 lead.
