KANSAS CITY, Mo. (December 11, 2019) -- The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced the 2019 Women's Soccer All-America Teams on Wednesday which included Johnson & Wales (Fla.) junior Savannah Jackson.
Jackson, an NAIA All-America honorable mention selection for the second-straight year, started in all 16 games for the Wildcats. The 2019 Sun Conference Player of the Year set the school record for both goals (46) and points (96) in a single season. The conference leader in both categories, Jackson was a six-time TSC Offensive Player of the Week. Registering nine hat tricks in 2019, Jackson set the school's single-game goal-scoring record with six versus Florida Memorial (10/16). She earned the school's first NAIA Offensive Player of the Week award back on October 22, helping JWU reach the 10-win plateau for the second-straight season. The Wildcats notched a school-record 12 wins in 2019, earning the No. 3 seed in this year's Sun Conference Women's Soccer Championships.
She led the nation goals per game (2.56), and finished No. 2 in the nation in total points, points per game (5.33), and game-winning goals (11).
Jackson is the only player in JWU history to registered four-or-more goals in a game, accomplishing this feat five times in 2019.
For her career, Jackson has recorded 91 goals and 11 assists for 193 points. She has tallied 13 hat tricks and 25 game-winning goals in three seasons with the Wildcats.
