Cross Country Wraps up Competition at 17th Annual ASICS Embry-Riddle Classic

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (September 21, 2019)
– The Johnson & Wales (Fla.) cross country team opened its 2019 slate at the 17th Annual ASICS Embry-Riddle Classic on Saturday morning.

Over 700 runners took part in this year's classic on Embry-Riddle's campus. 

In the men's 8K, freshman Javon St. Firmin recorded a time of 36:23.09 to finish 87th. Fellow freshman Jasen Santerre place 98th with a time of 40:23.21.

JWU will return to action on Friday, Setpember 27, in the Florida Runners Invitational in Lakeland, Florida.
